What does a tutoring lesson look like?

Our tutoring lessons are broken-down into 2 parts:

    Our tutors help your child deeply understand the material they’re catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead on.
    Your tutor will use their knowledge and expertise to provide expert homework help and test preparation.
    In addition, they will also use Empower’s learning tools & techniques to ensure your child truly feels confident in their understanding of the material.

  2. Post-Lesson Wellness Check-in

    We believe that many factors play a role in a student’s journey to academic success.
    This is why we provide a complementary, 10-minute wellness check-in after the lesson.
    During this time, your tutor will help your child in areas related to learning, such as their studying habits, stress management, mental health, motivation, post-secondary plans, & more.
